Prof. (Dr.) Rajesh E. Jesudasan is a distinguished academician, researcher, and academic administrator with over 20 years of experience in pharmaceutical education, research, institutional development, and higher education leadership. He currently serves as the Dean, Research & Development at Sri Venkateswaraa University. He holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, an M.S. (Research) in Chemical Engineering from IIT Bombay, an M.Pharm. in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, a DBA from ICFAI University, and a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Throughout his career, Prof. Jesudasan has held leadership positions as Dean, Director, Principal, Professor, and Head of Department at reputed pharmacy institutions across India. He has played a pivotal role in academic planning, research promotion, accreditation, institutional development, faculty mentoring, and quality assurance. His contributions include strengthening research ecosystems, establishing advanced laboratories, expanding academic programs, promoting interdisciplinary collaborations, and guiding doctoral scholars.
His research interests encompass pharmaceutical biotechnology, nanotechnology based drug delivery, natural product research, artificial intelligence in drug discovery, pharmacology, and translational pharmaceutical sciences. He has authored more than 30 research publications in reputed national and international journals, filed multiple patents, authored books and book chapters, and actively collaborate with researchers across disciplines.
