Awareness Program - Prevention Of Alcohol And Drug Abuse
An awareness program on the harmful effects of illicit liquor and drug abuse was conducted by the Prohibition and Excise Department, Cholavaram Union, Thiruvallur District, emphasizing the theme "Truth Always Triumphs" and "Drug-Free Thiruvallur". The event aimed to educate the public on the dangers and social impact of substance abuse.
Participants received valuable insights into the risks associated with alcohol and drug consumption, along with preventive measures and support systems available to promote a healthier community.
The session was presided over by Thiru. M. Prathap, I.A.S., District Collector of Thiruvallur, whose presence added significance and encouraged greater participation and awareness among attendees.
