Research Orientation Programme on AI in Healthcare - 2026
The IQAC and Research Committee of Sri Venkateswaraa University organized a Research Orientation Programme titled "How AI is Changing Healthcare: From Diagnosis to Patient Care" on 11th September 2026. Mr. Rajavasanthan, Tech Entrepreneur and AI Educationalist from Grids and Guides, was invited as the Resource Person.
Dr. E. Susithra, Associate Director (IQAC), delivered the Welcome Address. Dr. B. Sivapathasundaram, Pro Vice-Chancellor, and Dr. Rajesh Jesudasan, Dean (Research) addressed the gathering and highlighted the significance of emerging technologies in healthcare and research.
The session featured an engaging and interactive presentation, followed by a fruitful discussion involving students, faculty members, and the Resource Person. The programme provided valuable insights into the evolving role of Artificial Intelligence in healthcare, particularly in diagnosis, patient care, and research. Dr. V. Srinivasan, Director (IQAC), delivered the Vote of Thanks.
