Green Allies Inaugural Activity - Waste Management - 2026
The College of Allied Health Sciences, Sri Venkateswaraa University, inaugurated the Green Allies Eco and Sustainability Sub-Club with an inaugural activity on Waste Management on 05-09-2026 at the AHS Building. The programme focused on promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices among students and faculty.
The activity highlighted waste segregation awareness, colour-coded bin education, recycling and reuse ideas, and sustainable solutions for a better future. It encouraged participants to adopt responsible waste management practices and contribute to a cleaner, greener, and healthier campus.
The programme reflected Sri Venkateswaraa University's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility. Through the Green Allies initiative, the College of Allied Health Sciences encouraged students and faculty to work together towards a sustainable campus, in alignment with Sustainable Development Goals related to good health and well-being, responsible consumption and production, and climate action.
