Research Orientation Programme Strengthens Academic Research Culture and Innovation - 2026
The IQAC and Research Committee of Sri Venkateswaraa University conducted its first Research Orientation Programme on 21st August 2026. The programme brought together faculty members, Ph.D. scholars, and internees to strengthen research awareness and academic engagement.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor inaugurated the proceedings with an insightful address highlighting the importance of research in higher education and professional development. Dr. Rajesh Jesudasan, Dean (Research), delivered a presentation on "Why to Do Research," encouraging participants to develop a purposeful research mindset.
Dr. P. Srinivasan, Director, IQAC, presented "Basic Principles of Research," providing participants with valuable insights into fundamental research practices and methodologies. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. E. Susithra, Associate Director, IQAC, marking a meaningful step towards fostering a strong research-oriented academic environment.
