Freshnam - Onam and Freshers' Day Celebration - 2026
FRESHNAM'2026 was celebrated on August 26, 2026, as a vibrant combination of Onam festivities and Fresher's Day, welcoming the new batch of students into the academic community. With the theme "Colours, Culture, and New Beginnings," the programme created a warm and inclusive atmosphere rooted in tradition and togetherness.
A collaborative floral carpet created by senior and junior students added colour and cultural significance to the celebration, while the welcome activities encouraged meaningful interaction among students. Fun games, introductory sessions, group dances, singing, and musical performances provided opportunities for participants to build confidence, communication skills, friendships, and a sense of belonging.
The celebration enabled newcomers to showcase their talents while receiving encouragement and support from senior students, helping them become comfortable within their new academic environment.
