Onam Celebration - 2026
The College of Physiotherapy, Sri Venkateswaraa University, celebrated Onam on August 26, 2026, with enthusiasm and vibrant cultural spirit. The celebration featured Banana Leaf Decoration and Painting, Payasam Making, and Rangoli Competition - Pookalam, providing students with an engaging platform for creative expression and collaborative participation.
Fourteen students from BPT VII Semester, BPT VIII Semester, BPT I Year, and MPT I Year participated in the Payasam Making Competition and demonstrated coordination, enthusiasm, and culinary creativity. Three teams comprising BPT I Year and BPT VII Semester students took part in the Pookalam competition, creating traditional floral designs inspired by the festive essence of Onam.
Students from BPT VII Semester also participated in the Banana Leaf Decoration and Painting Competition, presenting innovative artwork with confidence and artistic skill. Conducted at the 2nd Floor Lecture Hall of the College of Physiotherapy, the celebration strengthened cultural appreciation, peer collaboration, and holistic student development, making it a meaningful educational experience.
