PHYSIOCARDIUM 2026 - Advancing Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy
Students and faculty from the College of Physiotherapy, Sri Venkateswaraa University, participated in PHYSIOCARDIUM 2026 MMM Amalgamation, a National Physiotherapy Conference themed 'Advancing Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy: Where Science Meets Skill'. The conference enhanced knowledge in evidence-based cardiopulmonary physiotherapy, chest X-ray interpretation, clinical reasoning, rehabilitation techniques, and interdisciplinary healthcare practices.
The scientific sessions focused on integrating radiological imaging with cardiopulmonary physiotherapy assessment to improve diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient outcomes. Participants attended expert lectures, case-based discussions, and practical learning sessions that strengthened clinical competence and evidence-based decision-making. Dr. K. Rekha, Principal, received the Prestigious Academician Award for excellence in physiotherapy education.
Faculty and students of SVU BPT actively participated in academic and cultural competitions. Dr. D. Nandhini secured Second Place in Paper Presentation, students won First Place in Solo Dance and Reels Competition, Second Place in Solo Singing and Quiz Competition, Third Place in Group Dance, and received the Overall Championship Trophy with Second Overall Position, showcasing the excellence of Sri Venkateswaraa University.
