Industrial Visit to Technomed Electronics by College of Physiotherapy
The College of Physiotherapy, Sri Venkateswaraa University organized an educational industrial visit to Technomed Electronics on 18-02-2026 for 7th Semester BPT students and MPT 1st Year students. The visit provided valuable exposure to the manufacturing process of physiotherapy equipment, including electrotherapy and rehabilitation devices, enhancing students' practical understanding of modern healthcare technology.
Students visited the design and development, assembly, testing, quality control and packaging departments to understand each stage involved in manufacturing physiotherapy equipment. They observed live demonstrations of advanced devices such as TENS units, ultrasound therapy machines, muscle stimulators and shockwave therapy equipment while interacting with experienced industry professionals.
The industrial visit strengthened students' knowledge of clinical applications, medical device manufacturing standards, quality assurance practices and emerging technologies in physiotherapy equipment. The program successfully bridged the gap between classroom learning and real-world industrial exposure, benefiting BPT and MPT students of Sri Venkateswaraa University.
