Movement Science Guest Lecture for Physiotherapy

The College of Physiotherapy at Sri Venkateswaraa University organized a guest lecture on 'How Do Movements Emerge and Its Implications for Physiotherapists' on the occasion of World Physiotherapy Day. The session was delivered by Dr. K. Hari Ohm, Chief Physiotherapist at Spring Physiotherapy Centre, Chennai, providing valuable insights into the science of human movement and modern physiotherapy practice.

Dr. K. Hari Ohm explained how movement emerges through the coordinated interaction of the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, environment, and individual behavior. The lecture highlighted evidence-based clinical approaches that help physiotherapists assess, restore, and improve functional movement in patients.
