National Seminar 2026 - Green Chemistry
A National Seminar on 'Exploring Innovative Approaches in Green Chemistry for Sustainable Phytopharmaceutical Development' was sponsored by the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India APTI TN and organized by the Department of Pharmacognosy at JKKMMRF's Annai JKK Sampoorani Ammal College of Pharmacy. The seminar focused on sustainable and innovative research approaches in phytopharmaceutical sciences.
The One Day National Seminar was held on 5 February 2026 and accredited by The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R Medical University, Chennai under Category IV with 10 credit points. The academic event aimed to promote green chemistry principles and sustainable drug discovery practices.
Ms Kavithra T presented the topic 'Unlocking Marine Microbial Secrets A Review of Genome Mining for Sustainable Natural Product Discovery' and secured First Prize for her outstanding oral or poster presentation. The achievement highlights excellence in research and innovation in the field of pharmacognosy and sustainable pharmaceutical development.
