MoU Signing for Skill Development, Research and Career-Oriented Learning - 2024
Sri Venkateswaraa University signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Centre, Guindy, on 4 December 2024. The collaboration establishes a framework for advancing skill development, professional training, research activities, and institutional capacity building.
The partnership brings opportunities for collaborative content development, competency-based training, assessment, certification, and professional development programmes. Representatives from the Tamil Nadu Apex Skill Development Centre shared valuable insights into skill ecosystem development, industry-oriented training models, and institutional collaboration opportunities.
The initiative also supports participation in government-led skill development programmes, including Naan Mudhalvan and Vetri Nichayam, creating pathways for career-focused learning and enhanced employability. Through demand-driven and placement-linked training, the collaboration strengthens innovation, research excellence, and workforce readiness, contributing to a more skilled and future-ready generation.
