Sri Venkateswaraa University Partners with Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation to Advance Indian Knowledge Systems-2025
Sri Venkateswaraa University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Siddhanta Knowledge Foundation, an Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) Centre accredited by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. This strategic collaboration reflects the University's commitment to integrating India's rich knowledge traditions into modern higher education in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
Through this partnership, the University will introduce over 100 credit-based transdisciplinary courses in Indian Knowledge Systems and Heritage (IKSH) across disciplines including Science, Engineering, Medicine, Management, Law, Agriculture, Arts, Education, and Technology. The initiative supports holistic education, research excellence, faculty development, sustainability, and improved institutional quality aligned with NAAC and NIRF standards.
The collaboration also strengthens student employability and entrepreneurship by promoting critical thinking, ethical leadership, innovation, and practical application of traditional knowledge in modern sectors. With a focus on rural entrepreneurship, healthcare, indigenous technologies, and sustainable development, the partnership prepares graduates to become culturally rooted, globally competent, and socially responsible professionals.
